Lonia Health is a Nigerian digital healthcare platform offering online doctor consultations, online counselling, and medication ordering with nationwide delivery. It is operated by Lonia Clinic & Maternity and serves patients across Nigeria. Lonia is not an emergency service.
What Lonia is
Lonia Health (lonia.ng) is a telemedicine platform based in Nigeria. Patients book a video consultation with a Nigerian doctor, receive a prescription where clinically appropriate, and can order the medication for delivery. It is the digital service of Lonia Clinic & Maternity, an established Nigerian hospital.

- Online doctor consultations
- Video consultations with MDCN-verified Nigerian doctors, in 15-minute slots. General-practice consultations are typically ₦5,000; specialist consultations cost more.
- Specialist consultations
- Consultants across recognised medical specialties, subject to availability.
- Online counselling and therapy
- Sessions with therapists, booked in one-hour blocks.
- Medication ordering and delivery
- Nationwide, fulfilled through a pharmacy delivery partner. Delivery is a flat ₦4,000 anywhere in Nigeria.
- Booking over WhatsApp
- Patients can register, book and pay entirely inside a WhatsApp conversation, without using the website.
- HMO and employer partnerships
- HMOs and organisations can cover their enrollees or staff for consultations on a capitation basis.

What Lonia is not
- Lonia is not for medical emergencies. In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital or call local emergency services.
- Lonia does not replace in-person examination where one is clinically required. Doctors refer patients for physical review when appropriate.
- Lonia is not an insurer. It partners with HMOs; it does not sell health insurance.
